I stayed for a short transit stay and was pleasantly surprised by the charm of the place. The room was kept clean and had a comfortable bed, allowing for a perfect night’s sleep. Being just a short walk from Dawlish Lawn and nestled among pretty gardens was wonderful. I'd definitely recommend it for those looking for peaceful accommodation near the beach and local eateries.

Charming cottage close to beach
This place was super cozy and Ginkgo was really friendly! Just a quick walk to the beach and nice spots to eat. Our room was comfy, though a bit snug. The garden was pretty, perfect for a morning coffee. A few more towels would’ve been nice, but we loved the stay overall!

Conveniently located close to Dawlish Lawn and eateries.
I found the small double room to be cramped and not as inviting as I had hoped. The noise from the water pipes in the bathroom was quite disruptive during my stay. The shower was unexpectedly small and seemed awkwardly placed.

large bathroom, pretty garden, quiet location
The shower setup felt cramped and separate from the loo!!! The small double room could use better soundproofing for more privacy!!! The parking situation could be less of an inconvenience !!!

The small double room was clean, and the cozy ambiance made for a pleasant stay. the room was smaller than expected and felt a bit cramped, lacking the welcoming touch typically found in cottages. The plumbing noise from the bathroom was disruptive, and the shower setup seemed unorthodox and confined. While the property offered decent hot dishes, the overall experience did not meet the standards anticipated for the price paid.
